Per BSA regulations, Webelos wanting to spend the full night, must have their parents spend the night with them; however, parents do not need to be present for pin night if they do not want to. (However it is a great way to get to know the boys/parents of troop 412.) If any boy chooses to spend the night, we ask that they bring a snack or 2 liter of soda to share. Also, if they choose to spend the night they will need a sleeping bag/pillow, and any games they wish to play, gaming system and if you have it a portable tv. This is the one time we allow electronics for campouts. (All other campouts are electronics free.) We do have many kids that participate in pin night, stay for games and activities until around midnight and then choose to go home so that is an option also. We prefer to have a headcount on the Monday prior to the lock-in (Dec 1st) so that the boys can plan for supplies; however, we will not turn anyone away on the night of the event.
