March Bartle Camp-out Fun
Jacob B. Troop Historian
The Scouts of Troop 412 sure had tons of fun on the Bartle Clean-up Camp-out in March! First, we enjoyed a hearty dinner at a Golden Corral restaurant. Tanner from the Ravens Patrol got challenged to eat a combination of disgusting foods. Guess what? Of course he did and everyone laughed at his reactions!
When we arrived at our campsite, we pitched our tents and settled down for the night. The next morning, the Philmont crew headed out on the long hike that awaited them. After the rest of us other Scouts ate breakfast, we helped clean our campsite to get it ready for summer camp. This was the main theme for our camp-out. After the clean-up, we ate lunch and then took the First Years to The Point. They loved it! Overall, we had a very fun camp-out.
This year we had good weather as well, and Mr. McBee didn’t get his Jeep stuck in the mud!
